Web Developer

Applications are welcomed from candidates that fulfil the following technical criteria and a demonstrated track record in Web development.

Overall job purpose: To develop, maintain and enhance client s Websites ensuring that Web standards and accessibility regulations are upheld and that a consistent quality is maintained.
Support and mentor less experienced members of the Web division in the development of accessible Websites using the latest technologies.

Knowledge and skills: In depth knowledge and experience of the .NET framework, in particular ASP.NET and C# In depth knowledge and experience of Web Forms and Visual Studio 2005 In depth knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Strong HTML and CSS skills and experience Strong SQL skills, including Stored Procedures and security practices.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft technologies. Knowledge and experience of developing E-commerce and CMS driven sites Knowledge of XML and XSL-T Experience with deploying Web Applications.
Principle activities/output of job Maintain and develop Web based projects to agreed/self regulated timescales and priorities. Help ensure all developments meet accessibility and usability guidelines.
