Technician (Mechancial)
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to work as part of the Mechanical and Electrical team, maintaining and repairing a range of plant and equipment of the estate.
Flexibility is required for this role as call outs are expected in return you will receive an enhanced payment.
You must be able to comply with legislation, and have 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant discipline.
Duties will include:
Working knowledge of HVAC equipment.
The ability to plan and execute your workload and others.
A positive working attitude, strong team player and logical approach to working.
Good standard of IT literacy for all MS packages.
Ability to deal with highly stressful situations.
Qualification to a minimum NVQ3 level, or City and Guilds is essential, and you will have served a recognized mechanical apprenticeship ideally in heavy engineering.
IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable.
This is a 40 hour week Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00.
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as a pension and life assurance scheme are also offered.
