TEACHER OF SCIENCE/PHYSICS

REQUIRED FOR APRIL 2009

The post would be suitable for either NQTs or more experienced teachers. A comprehensive induction programme will be offered.
The successful applicant will:-

• be a well qualified SCIENCE specialist able to teach balanced science in a well resourced department;
• be a creative teacher with the ability to motivate students of all abilities;
• be enthusiastic and energetic;
• have a commitment to raising standards;
• have a commitment to providing a first class learning experience for all our students.

The ability to teach ‘A’ Level Physics would be desirable, but not essential.

Walmer Science College is a good school with outstanding features (Ofsted 2007).
