Operational Risk Analyst

This will be offered initially as a 3-4 month temporary assignment within this leading financal institution.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT CANDIDATES HAVE FLUENT CANTONESE, MANDARIN AND ENGLISH

Responsibilities
• Reviewing the Know Your Customer ( KYC ) forms for completeness and accuracy
• Collecting data relating to accuracy and errors encountered during review of forms
• Ensuring the company complies with internal risk avoidance efforts and external compliance requirements
• Escalating issues to Senior Personnel for resolution
• Preparing reports or participating on teams to improve the KYC process
Core skills and requirements
(• Ability to communicate at business level in Cantonese and Mandarin languages ( both verbal and written ) as well as English
• Experience in banking to include knowledge of a particular product / product suite
• An appetite and aptitude for reading and understanding governmental or legal compliance documentation
• A keen interest in Risk Assessment or Anti-Money Laundering
• Experience with MS Office Suite - especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
• Educated to Degree level, or equivalent
