Key Stage 2 Teacher

We require an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team. A teaching and learning responsibility point is available to the right candidate, who would take on a core curriculum subject. He/she would join us in September 2008, to teach a lower Key Stage 2 class. The successful candidate will be an accomplished teacher with experience across Key Stage 2. He or she would possess the ability to lead a small team of teaching assistants to enable us to continue to achieve high standards throughout Key Stage 2. A willingness to undertake management tasks in other areas of school life, eg after school activities, is essential. The individual will lead a key area of the curriculum for the school, for which non-contact management time is provided. We are a "good" school (OFSTED July 2007) with an acknowledged capacity to become even better.
