Individual Support Workers (Childcare)
Bradstow is a fascinating and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19, set in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children with autism and severe learning difficulties, and have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.
36.5 hours per week – Term time only
Working as part of the childcare team, these roles involve providing care and support to students mornings, evenings and weekends. For all posts we are looking for candidates who are mature, practical, flexible and responsible with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children. Please note that CV’s will not be considered. All appointments are subject to a CRB check. All shortlisted applicants will be expected to visit the school before interview, and the selection process includes a basic literacy assessment. In addition to salary, the benefits package includes Benenden membership.
