HR/Office Manager

This is an exciting role within this rapidly expanding, successful and progressive local company, based in Dartford, Kent.

It is a complete Office Manager/HR Generalist role and candidates should have a solid, proven track record in this field.
In addition to HR, this role encompasses, facilities management and genral o

Responsibilities will include:
Working closely with all departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting the line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;

Recruitment of staff: developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, shortlisting, interview and selection of new staff members;
Developing policieson issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
Undertaking regular salary reviews;
Negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions;
Administering payroll and maintaining records relating to staff;
Interpreting and advising on employment legislation;
Administering and implementing disciplinary procedures;
Developing with the line managers, HR planning strategies;
Planning and occasionally the delivery of training including inductions from new staff;
Training needs analysis;
Ensure compliance with company policies on understanding and practice of health and safety in accordance with company and industry policies;
