GPS Project Manager
The Client is one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial products and services. The company's Global Corporate and Investment Banking group (GCIB) focuses on companies with annual revenues of more than $2.5 million; middle-market and large corporations; institutional investors; financial institutions; and government entities. GCIB provides innovative services in M&A, equity and debt capital raising, lending, Working in International Change Management, this role supports projects relating to corporate change initiatives impacting multiple business units, product lines, or business processes. Provides strategic, overall project direction consistent with vision, strategy, and scope. Ensures development and execution of work breakdown structure (work plan) and completes other project documents as required by the project.
“End to End” project management of assigned “speed to market” projects including:-
• Tracking of resources, financials, issues and risks to execution
• Matrix management of assigned resources from diverse business groups
• Reporting of project status to senior management
• Adherence to approved project management processes
• Anticipates and takes proactive measures to resolve potential gaps/conflicts and issues that could inhibit success
• Identify risk; establishes risk mitigation strategy and plans; and manages risk mitigation.
• Has primary responsibility but works jointly with the Business Lead.
• Facilitates work team sessions or other meetings required to resolve issues
• Extensive experience of managing projects “end to end”
• May have 2-5 years project management experience
• Excellent project management, teamwork, time management, organizational and leadership skills
• Drive for results, lead people to perform and build business relationship that will enable the team to deliver
• Strong communication, influence management and planning skills, combined with an enthusiastic confident, proactive and outgoing personality
• Resolve problems and drive solutions whilst dealing with conflicting priorities

• Business acumen
• Excellent presentation skills to various levels of management
• Fluent in English
• ‘Can do’ approach
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable Skills
• Qualification in APMP/Prince2/Other project management discipline
• Knowledge of SSCP/ SSP/Other change management processes.
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Degree Qualified
• Knowledge of Commercial Card, Payments and Treasury Services
