Experienced Laboratory Technicians
Remel is a leading brand in the field of microbiology, with customers in clinical, food and pharmaceutical laboratories around the world. Remel products are manufactured and marketed by the Microbiology Business of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
We have a number of vacancies for laboratory technicians, working in the Agglutination, EIA and Quality Control departments. The main purpose of the roles are to be involved in the manufacture of a range of immuno-diagnostic products, processing the key components for our assays, manufacturing liquid diagnostic reagents, qualifying the performance of the reagents and quality checking throughout the manufacturing process. To be eligible to apply, you must have a good general level of education (GCSE or above) and a relevant education in biosciences would be advantageous. You should be organised, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail with both good written and verbal skills. You will be able to accurately follow procedures and adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines. You must be able to adapt to change efficiently and learn new techniques and procedures rapidly.
