Enforcement Officer

Housing and Environment Waste Management
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible team player to join the Waste and Horticultural Services team at the Brookvale depot in Northfleet. You will be responsible for enforcing waste legislation such as the Clean Neighbourhood and Environmental Act and Environmental Protection Act 1990. Your duties will include issuing fixed penalty notices and investigating flytipping.
Previous enforcement experience knowledge of the Clean Neighbourhood and Environment Act and Environmental Protection act 1990 are desirable and you will have good writtern, oral and IT skills. A knowledge of waste managementand recycling would be an advantage. The successful applicants will be required to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau check
