Community Warden

Communities Community Safety
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to be actively involved in making our estates throughout the Borough a better place to live. You will be at the forefront of challenging and tackling anti social behaviour, maintaining a visible presence in the locality and building relationships with residents; assisting in promoting and developing a safe environment in conjunction with the police and other partners. In addition you will be working with residents to ensure that the appearance of housing estates is continually improving and strong positive relationships are established amongst the community and relevant agencies. You will have a strong determined character and will not be easily intimidated. You will demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain working relationships. You will be responsible for keeping accurate records and acting as a professional witness should the need arise.
A clean driving licence is essential. Hours are worked on a rota basis 5 days on 3 days off mainly in the evenings. Flexibility is essential.
