CRIMINAL JUSTICE WORKER (YOS)
COVERING DOVER, FOLKESTONE & ASHFORD
KCA Young Persons’ Service delivers specialist, young person-centred drug and alcohol services to those aged 10 – 17. It provides advice, information, support and prevention initiatives, ongoing casework and intensive interventions.
We have been commissioned since 2005 to provide substance misuse services to the Kent Youth Offending Service. This post will cover the Dover, Folkestone and Ashford areas, offering assessment and ongoing casework to young offenders referred by the Young Offender Teams in those areas.
We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, committed person with a good knowledge of drug/alcohol issues, who can demonstrate the ability to work creatively and effectively with young offenders. Previous experience of working with young offenders is essential.
