Bi-Lingual Technical Support Representative
We are currently looking for a contractor, through to the end of September 2008, to join the Technical Servicing Team within the Global Client Services Department of this leading financial institution. This department is responsible for the telephone and email support of all the company's clients throughout the EMEA region who have one or more of the company's products.
The successful candidate will be required to build up a good knowledge base in a range of the company's web based products, provide ongoing daily support to their clients together with accurate resolution and guidance on all product related issues and questions. Since many of the company's clients are located throughout Europe , fluency in English, German and preferably one other major European language, ideally French, is required for this position.
With multiple client requirements being co-ordinated at any one time within the team, strong technical, organisation, time management and communication skills will be key in ensuring the success of the client support issues assigned to the Technical Servicing Adviser. A focus on quality, creativity and teamwork are a pre-requisite for this role.
The position will also require the candidate to interact with and work alongside the Sales, Product, Implementation, Client Service and Operations Departments to provide the client with an ever-increasing level of service.
Skills, Systems and Qualifications :
Prospective candidates must be able to demonstrate that their knowledge and skill set would complement and bring added value to the Technical Servicing Team, typically from the following key areas:
· Proven client service skills.
· Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Strong time management and a sense of team work.
· A sound knowledge of the Internet technologies and experience in a client support or a client training type position is required for this role.
· Good knowledge of PCs and Browsers.
· Ability to troubleshoot Browser related issues.
· Knowledge of Electronic Banking Products an advantage.
· Knowledge of SWIFT message types and an understanding of payment formatting an advantage.
